INFORMATION
Princeville Resort
5520 Ka Haku Rd., P.O. Box 223069
Princeville, Kauai, HI 96722
More and more, Kauai is becoming known as a superb golf
destination. According to Golf Digest's prestigious list, it has four of the
top-rated golf courses in Hawaii. Even closer to home, Conde Nast Traveler
ranked Princeville Resort among the 50 Best Golf Resorts in America and Golf
Digest has included the Prince
Course on its gold-plated list of America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses. Our Makai
Course has also been included on that list for 16 consecutive years.
If there was ever a paradise for golfers it is Kauai, in general, and
Princeville, in particular.
On the farthest edge of paradise lies what many consider to be the most
beautiful resort on earth-The Princeville Resort.
A 9,000 acre planned resort community with the 23 acre Princeville
Hotel as its focal point, the Princeville Resort is a million miles from
reality but quickly accessible to everywhere. Lihue Airport, located
approximately 32 scenic miles south of Princeville, is served by United Airlines
and inter-island carriers, Hawaiian and Aloha Airlines.
Here, the elegant Princeville
Hotel cascades down cliffs to a golden beach and affords sweeping ocean and
mountain views from most of its spacious and ultra-luxurious rooms. Nearby, two
of the top-ranked golf
courses in the nation challenge golfers to keep their eyes on the ball, and
the beautiful Princeville
Health Club & Spa provide both heart-pounding exercise and
soul-expanding relaxation and rejuvenation.
In addition to the tennis,
biking, and water sports offered within the resort, Princeville is also the
gateway to an astonishing array of entertainment options on the Kauai's North
Shore, including canoeing or kayaking emerald rivers, cruising and sailing along
the famed Na Pali coast, touring peaks and canyons by helicopter, hiking to
expansive white sand beaches, horseback riding to the Kalihiwai Waterfall,
deep-sea fishing, and whale watching. While most of these activities get you
up-close and personal with nature, there is also sightseeing and shopping at the
Princeville Shopping Center and in the picturesque town of Hanalei.

BONUS FEATURES
WEDDINGS

dream weddings come true. In addition to the special packages for couples
planning a wedding, Princeville also welcomes newlyweds and those who simply

GOLF
All too
infrequently does the perfection of nature and creativity of man intersect in
absolute harmony. At Princeville Resort, however, they blend gloriously. Here
you are surrounded by beauty, no matter where you are or what you choose to do
and at the heart of the Princeville experience is golf. But not just any kind of
golf. In collaboration with nature, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. has fashioned 45 of
the most beautiful, tropical holes of golf in the world. They range along green
bluffs that skirt mountains and the bluest ocean, offering stunning views
everywhere you look.
PRINCE COURSE
Golf Digest has named The Prince Course the Number One golf
course in the State of Hawaii. It is also included in their prestigious list of
"America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses." The Prince is one of Hawaii's
most challenging golf courses, with a USGA course rating of 75.3 and a 145
slope. But fear not. Five different tees on each hole allow you to set your own
challenge. Named after Prince Albert, the only son of King Kamehameha IV and
Queen Emma, The Prince is Robert Trent Jones, Jr.'s masterpiece. Looking as if
it had emerged full-blown from nature, it chugs uphill, jumps ravines and
careens downhill like a roller-coaster.
Adjoining it is one of the most magnificent golf and clubhouse facilities in
the world, the 60,000 square foot Princeville Golf Club. Here, golfers can enjoy
the amenities of the Princeville Health Club & Spa and the Princeville
Restaurant & Bar. The Golf Club also features full banquet facilities —
including two meeting rooms — The Alii Room with capacity of 260 pax and the
Lehua Room (25-30 pax capacity).
MAKAI COURSE
Golf Digest lists the Princeville Makai Course in its Top 50 Resort
Courses, and has included it in "America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses"
for 16 consecutive years. The Makai is really three courses in one: the Ocean
Nine - venturing closest to the Pacific, the Lakes Nine - winding its way around
serene lakes and the Woods Nine - diverting its way through native woodlands.
Course Features include:
- Private lessons/clinics
- Tournament assistance
- PGA professional staff
- Club and shoe rentals
Princeville Tennis Club
Conveniently located next
to the Princeville Makai Clubhouse, you’ll find the Princeville Tennis Club
with six Plexi-pave courts, a full-service Pro Shop and one of the most
beautiful locations for tennis in the world.
