The blue Pacific spilling onto pearl-white sands. Courtyard
gardens, perfumed by the heavy scent of tropical blossoms. A koi pond strewn
with blushing lotus flowers, and gentle waterfalls washing over black lava rock.
Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or to realize your dream of a
serene Hawaiian-style wedding, the Manele Bay Hotel offers limitless
possibilities for escape from the ordinary.
For children, Lanai is certainly comparable to a 9-mile
playground. Those lucky enough to be under the age of 12 can conquer the island
in our Pilialoha Adventure Program. Where else can you look a dolphin in the
eye. Race by torchlight. Or learn how to make a lei for Mom. Kids are certain to
find plenty to do. And because Lanai is sheltered from the crowds found on other
islands, you and your children can enjoy an entire island of fun with a sense of
safety and security.
Upon arrival you will immediately sense you have left the
ordinary world behind. Your pampering begins the moment you arrive, when you are
greeted with a lei of freshly gathered flowers. In each of our 249 rooms and
suites, at an average size of 700 square feet, you'll find private balconies,
original artwork, and marble baths. In exclusive suites, butler service upholds
a worthy English tradition. And every night you find your bed impeccably
arranged with a mint-laced chocolate and an orchid on your pillow.

Golf at The Challenge at Manele |
| High above the roiling surf that crashes into the cliffs
of Hulopoe Bay, the magnificent Challenge at Manele beckons golfers from around
the world. With its dramatic terrain of plunging gorges and verdant ravines, The
Challenge offers a thrilling target-style game amid miles of unspoiled natural
surroundings. Every hole offers sweeping ocean views, and several require
precision shots from cliff to cliff using the Pacific itself as a water
hazard. Designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, The Challenge is a course you
will rightly anticipate, and will celebrate long after your round has ended.

Features:

The course features 3 holes constructed on
the cliffs of Hulopoe Bay which use the Pacific Ocean as a
dramatic water hazard. The five-tee concept challenges even the
best golfers with precise tee shots over natural gorges and
ravines, while the average golfer will enjoy the beautiful vistas
without suffering limitations on distance and accuracy. The Par 3,
Number 12 "signature hole" plays from a cliff 150 feet
above the crashing surf, requiring a demanding 200-yard tee shot
across the ocean.
