ACCOMMODATIONS
Jamaica Inn's crowning glory are its accommodations -- spacious, impeccable and very tasteful. Beds are always freshly made, even after an afternoon nap. A clean, thick beach towel awaits you, no matter how many trips you make to the beach. The cool sea breezes filter through louvered shutters. For the occasional lull, ceiling fans and air conditioning provide comfort. Each room or suite has a private balustraded balcony overlooking the water.

• THE BALCONY SUITE:  Upstairs Main Wing or East Wing Ocean Front, with view across the lawn to the beach and sea. Sizeable balcony.  Each room is furnished with Jamaican antiques and well-crafted period pieces. The sitting area has a full size sofa, wing chair, breakfast table, and writing desk.
• DELUXE VERANDAH SUITES:  Ground floor Main Wing or East Wing Ocean Front with views across the lawn to the beach and sea. Large living room style verandah.  All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fans. All balconies and large verandahs come complete with full size sofa, wing chair, breakfast table, writing desk and coffee table. All our fabrics are cotton chintz. All rooms are equipped with your choice of twin or king beds.
• PREMIER VERANDAH SUITES:  West Wing or Beach Wing. West Wing verandahs are directly on the water. Beach Wing verandahs are directly on the beach. Large living room style verandah.
• COWDRAY SUITE:  Lord Cowdray of Polo fame's favorite suite, features a large bedroom with separate dressing room. Large living room style verandah with spectacular views of North Coast and sea.
• PINEAPPLE SUITE:  An enchanting oversized corner room on the ground floor in the East Wing wing two antique queen poster beds accented with pineapple designs and a comfortable sitting area with two wing back chairs and writing desk. The well appointed long verandah is shaded with tropical foliage and hanging flowering vines and overlooks the croquet lawn, beach and ocean.
• CLEARWATER VILLA SUITE:  Located in private gardens on a picturesque bluff overlooking the sea adjacent to the west side of the Inn. The Suite has direct access to the sea, it's own luxury pool, and is surrounded by verandahs. Three bedrooms, each with private bath, can accommodate up to six people comfortably. Clearwater Villa Suite offers a full housekeeping staff, and access to all Jamaica Inn's facilities.
• BLUE COTTAGE:  A luxurious and private one-bedroom cottage - right on the beach. The large shuttered verandah can be opened for a dramatic ocean view or closed for total seclusion. An exquisite hideaway.
• WHITE SUITE:  The White Suite is magnificently situated on its own private peninsula. A unique suite, furnished with fine Jamaican antiques consisting of a large bedroom with sitting area and luxurious marble bathroom. Breathtaking vistas of the Caribbean Sea can be seen from anywhere within the 2000 square feet of living space. The expansive private terrace opens unto its own secluded pool surrounded by lush vegetation.

The scrumptious cuisine is European with a Caribbean twist, served on the terrace under the stars. The freshest local fruits, vegetables, and seafood are at the heart of the menu and a superb wine list complements the fare. • SPORTS FACILITIES:  On-property croquet, swimming pool, snorkeling, kayaks and sunfish sailing are complimented by windsurfing, sailing and diving facilities available at nearby Shaw Park where Jamaica Inn guests may also play tennis at no extra charge. An exercise room is located in the garden wing. Equipment includes a stair climber, stationary bicycle and treadmill.
• MEETING FACILITIES:  A room for small meetings can accommodate up to 45 people; audiovisual equipment can be supplied on request.

• DRAX HALL POLO CLUB:  Polo every Saturday afternoon, weather permitting.
• CHUKKA COVE FARM:  The Caribbean's number one equestrian center offers polo, dressage, jumping lessons and a farm tour.
• CHUKKA COVE MOUNTAIN BIKING TOUR:  Take an exceptional mountain bike ride from high in the mountains of St. Ann through the woodland and meadow, from the quaint village of Mount Zion to a thirst quenching stop at the Spicy Grove tavern.
• SANDALS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB:  Two miles from Ocho Rios, amongst verdant hills, 700 ft above sea level. The course is par 71, 6600 yards and can supply rental equipment.

• FIREFLY:  The late Noel Coward's residence in Port Maria. Approximately 40 minutes drive along a very scenic route plus spectacular route plus spectacular view of the coastline and the Blue Mountains.
• PROSPECT ESTATE:  Located just 5 minutes from the hotel, the Estate offers a Plantation Tour and horse trail riding.
• HARMONY HALL GREAT HOUSE:  Art gallery restaurant and bar. For the finest in Jamaican art and crafts.
• COYABA:  River garden and museum. On the way to Shaw Park Gardens, the museum displays artifacts from the Arawaks to the Plantation era. There is also a gallery with prints, paintings and wood carvings.
• ECO-TOURS:  The touring society of Jamaica develops tours and special events that bring visitors closer to island life, introducing them to the art, architecture, music, literature, history, natural beauty and people of Jamaica.
• RAFTING - RIO GRANDE:  Located in Port Antonio, this is an all-day trip comprising of a two hour drive along a beautiful, scenic coastal road followed by a two and a half hour bamboo raft trip which includes lunch.
• DUNN'S RIVER FALLS:  Jamaica's famous waterfalls are just twenty minutes away.
• SHOPPING:  The Pineapple Place, Ocean Village shopping in downtown Ocho Rios.
• AIR CHARTER:  Private Air Charters from Montego Bay or Kingston can be arranged by Jamaica Inn - a wonderful way to see the stunning country.
