ACCOMMODATIONS
The U-shaped design of the Resort's eight-story, classically styled building ensures that 80 percent of the rooms and suites enjoy dazzling views of the Pacific Ocean. Other rooms overlook tropical hillsides and the luxurious, landscaped gardens. All guest rooms and suites include comfortable seating, a large marble bathroom and a spacious, furnished lanai. Most offer a king-sized bed, but double beds are also available.

  • DELUXE OCEAN FRONT SUITE:  These uniquely designed and elegant one or two bedroom suites combine the best views of the beach and Pacific Ocean with deluxe touches such as mounted binoculars in the living room.  Deluxe Ocean Front Suites are available with one or two bedrooms, measuring 1,800 to 2,400 square feet (167 to 223 square meters).  A large living room and a dining area with private bar make them ideal for business or personal entertaining.  The spacious master bedroom has a king bed, extensive closet space and a large dressing area.
  • CLUB FLOOR OCEAN FRONT PRIME SUITE:  Located on the Resort's top floor, Club Floor Ocean Front Prime Suites provide the Resort's best, high-elevation ocean views from private, furnished lanais. They give guests access to exclusive Club Floor services and amenities.  Club Floor Ocean Front Prime Suites measure 1,400 square feet (130 square meters).  One-Bedroom Suites have a large living room and dining area with private bar.  The spacious master bedroom has a king bed, extensive closet space and a large dressing area.  Accessed by private elevator key, the exclusive Club Floor serves day-long amenities including continental breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres (Hawaiian "pupus"), and after-dinner liqueurs and desserts.  Club Floor concierge service includes complimentary check-in and check-out.
  • OCEAN VIEW TWO-BEDROOM SUITE:  These elegant and generously proportioned Two-Bedroom Suites directly overlook the Pacific Ocean and the beach, and feature seaward lanais.  Located on the sixth and seventh floors of the Resort, Ocean Front Prime Two-Bedroom Suites measure 2,000 square feet (186 square meters).  They feature a large living room and dining area with private bar - ideal for business or personal entertaining.  The spacious master bedroom has a king bed, extensive closet space and a large dressing area.
  • ILIMA / OCEAN VIEW DELUXE SUITE:  Each suite is "one of a kind" with its unique, elegant décor. Set on the Lobby Level, The Ilima Suite is the ultimate hospitality suite, and includes an extensive lanai.  These suites measure 1,800 to 3,574 square feet (167 to 332 square meters).  The large living room with dining area includes a private bar.  The spacious master bedroom has a king bed, extensive closet space and a large dressing area.
  • LOKELANI SUITE:  The Lokelani Suite has one-of-a-kind decor. The large living room offers deeply cushioned couches overlooking a tiled terrace, with garden and distant ocean views. An ideal "Honeymoon Suite," it includes a spectacular bathroom with a large jet tub and shower for two.  The Lokelani Suite measures 2,700 square feet (251 square meters).  The bedroom has a king-sized bed, extensive closet space and a large dressing area.
  • MAILE SUITE:  This luxurious three-bedroom suite (each with a private entrance) boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and six lanais that front the Pacific Ocean and long, golden sand beach.  The suite's contemporary binoculars provide magnificent views of the spectacular sunsets, soothing ocean waves, neighboring islands and migrating pods of humpback whales (from January until May).  Located on the seventh floor of the Resort, the suite is 5,000 square feet (464 square meters).  The classic and opulent living room has a complete entertainment system with recessed lighting, high ceilings and antique carpets; the dining room seats twelve guests with service provided from the adjacent "butler kitchen"; and the marble master bathroom has both a whirlpool tub and a dry sauna.

Families and Special Needs
Families can be accommodated in suites and, in some cases, through connecting standard guest rooms. Most rooms and suites also offer an optional queen-sized sofa bed in the living area. We recommend contacting the Resort directly to make the best family arrangements. Rooms and floors for non-smokers are available on request, as are wheelchair-accessible rooms.

DINING

• FERRARO'S AT SEASIDE:  Doubles as a casual lunch locale by day and a romantic Italian restaurant by night. Lunch is served overlooking Wailea Beach and features casual fare including light salads, pastas and sandwiches. In the evening, guests dine under a canopy of stars at Wailea's only beachside restaurant.
  As part of our continuing commitment to provide guests with the best services and facilities, Ferraro's at Seaside will be temporarily closed for renovations from September to December. The restaurant will re-open in mid-December, featuring a new poolside "sunset bar" and a piazza with a pizza oven. During the renovations, guests can enjoy lunch and dinner at the Pacific Grill and Spago, as well as a series of barbecues and other unique events.
• PACIFIC GRILL:  Surrounded by lush foliage, tropical breezes and an ocean view, most of our guests begin their day with a leisurely breakfast in this open-air restaurant. Pacific Grill's seafood specialties, rotisserie, wok and grill items from the Pacific Rim are favored fare in the evening. These dishes combine flavors from the East and West with those of Hawaii to create a fusion fantasy.
• SPAGO:  With a contemporary approach to traditional Asian design, the décor of Spago at Four Seasons Resort Maui features unique stone and woods, custom lighting and glass, exotic textures and art pieces.

CHILDREN

Four Seasons is a wonderful base for families, and not just because of our complimentary children's programme. We always welcome our young guests with an amenity. There are children's menus in all restaurants. Bedtime milk and cookies, video game units, child-sized robes, complimentary cribs or no-tear shampoo are available for the asking. Children under 18 can share their parents' room at no extra charge. Help arranging family diversions or babysitting services is as close as our ever-resourceful Concierge.

Other family-friendly touches include a wading pool for toddlers, a children's pool with a small slide, beach and pool toys; a children's video library; a Games Room with billiards, ping pong, foosball, arcade games, Super Nintendo and Sony PlayStation; a complimentary scuba clinic for children 12 years and older; and children's rates on snorkel and whale-watch sails.

Complimentary year-round "Kids For All Seasons" program for children 5 to 12 years. The program emphasizes educational activities as well as contemporary and traditional Hawaiian arts, crafts and games. Outdoor recreation includes lawn hockey, ulu maika (Hawaiian bowling), coconut demonstration, swimming, beach games, sand sculpting, ping pong, tennis and regular visits with Ricky and Lucy, the parrot mascots.

Names and ages of children are documented at time of reservation, and kids receive a welcome amenity of milk and cookies and special take-home gift.

As part of the Four Seasons on-going commitment to provide guests with the best facilities, the health spa will undergo an extensive transformation this fall. Between September and mid-December, guests can continue to enjoy spa treatments in private treatment rooms in the north tower of the Resort.

The spa will re-open in mid-December, and will feature a new menu of services offered in a total of 16 treatment rooms, a new reception area, shops, an expanded weight room and enhanced locker facilities with whirlpools and steam rooms.

POOL

The large Fountain Pool has a whirlpool at each end and a central fountain. It is heated 78–82ºF (24–26ºC). The pool attendants provide ice water, chilled towels and Evian water spritz. Food and beverage service is available poolside.

FITNESS FACILITIES

Generously furnished with all the latest fitness and training equipment, the Health Center includes floor-to-ceiling mirrors on three walls, along with windows allowing for natural lighting on the fourth wall. There is also a canopied outdoor cardiovascular area. The aerobics room has hardwood floors and is home to a wide range of daily fitness classes.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Wailea Emerald is a spectacularly scenic course that boasts panoramic views of its natural surroundings. After it opened in 1994, this course was named one of the country's top-ten new resort courses by Golf Magazine and Golf Digest. Wailea Gold Course
The rugged Wailea Gold course was made for players seeking a real challenge. A masterful blend of brawn and beauty, this par-72 course will soon be the host course of the Senior Skins Game. Architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. took full advantage of Wailea's naturally undulating terrain and created an outstanding layout that measures more than 7,000 yards and showcases Wailea's stunning scenery. Strategically placed bunkers and hazards, changes in elevation and masterfully designed doglegs have earned the Wailea Gold the reputation of being a "thinking player's" course that rewards good strategy and finesse. Wailea Blue Course
The Wailea Blue Course sits on the lowest slopes of Mt. Haleakala, bedecked with colorful blooms and serene fountains. Its fairways meander through much of Wailea offering spectacular vistas of Maui's natural ocean and volcanic wonders. Players will appreciate the generosity of the Blue's wide fairways, as well as the challenges inherent in its skillful design. Note: all charges can be billed to your guestroom.

The Resort offers two "Top Flight" surfaced courts with wind screens, both lighted for night play. Guests enjoy complimentary use of the tennis courts and racquets as well as, upon request, a ball machine.
