ACCOMMODATIONS
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess offers a total of 650 richly furnished guest rooms, including two Presidential Suites, 23 suites and 119 casitas. All guest rooms have well-defined living and work areas, terraces, wet bars, refrigerators and enormous luxury bathrooms. Blending high style and comfort, guest rooms feature the subtle undertone, earthy accents and patterns of the southwest. With four guest room categories from Standard to Premier, and six types of suites, we cater to every accommodation need.

• Standard Room:  Standard Rooms are located in either the Main Building or in the villas. Comfortable for 4 to 5 people, they can accommodate a rollaway or crib if needed. • Fairmont Deluxe:  The Fairmont Deluxe rooms are located in the Main Building or the Villa section of the resort. • Scottsdale Premier Room:  The spacious Scottsdale Premier Rooms are open-concept, no division between the bedroom area and the large sitting area. Located in the Casitas, these luxurious rooms feature a working gas fireplace and a shell-shaped walk-in shower. Some rooms can accommodate a rollaway, others may have a sofabed.  Bed Type: one King or two Double beds Size: 700 sq. ft.  View: grounds or golf course
• Casita Suite:  The Casita Suites are composed of a large sitting area with a gas fireplace, sofabed and round marble table that seats six. • Cholla Suite:  The Cholla Suites are also known as "Honeymoon Suites". They feature a separate bedroom and livingroom with sofabed, dining area with round table that seats four, and oversized bathroom.  Bed Type: King size canopy bed  Size: approximately 1200 sq. ft.  View: South Pool or Plaza
• Master Suite:  There are 12 Master Suites at the hotel, all located on the first level. The Master Suite is ideal for the business traveler. The parlor has a conference/dining area with a round table that seats six, and a built-in visual aid center with white marker-board, tack board, poster easel and pull-down screen. • La Hacienda:  Acclaimed as the only Mexican style restaurant in North America to garner the AAA 4-Diamond and Mobil 4-Star rating, this turn-of-the-century free standing Mexican ranch house is located in La Hacienda Plaza. The menu features authentic Mexican specialties including a variety of antojitos (appetizers) such as sautéed wild mushrooms and white beans. GOLF

Avid golfers will enjoy a PGA Tour Golf experience at The Tournament Players Club (TPC) of Scottsdale, Stadium Course. These courses are located adjacent to The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Designed by the team of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, each course has its own unique qualities and offers guests a choice of challenge. The Stadium Course is the home of the annual Professional Golf Association Tours Phoenix Open. The course boasts a 100,000 plus gallery, excellent for spectators who enjoy the excitement of The Open every January. Lush fairways surrounded by desert vegetation and breathtaking mountain views enhance the golf experience on this 18 hole, par 71 course. One of the most dramatic holes on the TPC Stadium Course is the 15^th hole. It is a reachable par-5 with water surrounding an island green, with bunkers in the front of the green and a lake to the left it creates an interesting challenge for all. Beside the Stadium Course is the Desert Course offering a more lenient round of golf with larger greens and more level fairways. However, the course can be a challenge with prevailing winds and selectively placed bunkers and trees.

Next to the TPC Stadium Course is the TPC Desert Course. Although regarded as a more forgiving layout, this course features dazzling scenery as well as some difficult holes.

The shorter Desert Course has been distinguished as the Valley's ''Diamond in the Rough''. With impressive course conditions, magnificent surrounding views, country club style bentgrass greens, open and forgiving fairways and high standards of maintenance, the Desert Course is an exceptional value.

Eagle Mountain Golf Course

Eagle Mountain is a rambling track that is draped around the mountain of the same name. Even though Eagle Mountain has numerous blind shots, ubiquitous bunkering and greens that seem to wave at will; there is much to admire at this golf course. After working with Jack Nicklaus designing other courses, Scott Miller set off on his own creating some notable golf courses, one of which is Eagle Mountain. The wide variety of holes is remarkable, and the course builds to a crescendo with the 17^th and 18^th signature holes. On the 18^th hole players tee off from high on a hill with Red Mountain forming and awesome backdrop

The Kierland Golf experience is like a walk in the park, the challenge is decidedly not. Situated in a tranquil setting, golfers enter a world that feels far from the hustle and bustle of the Southwest¿s most famous resort city. Emerald green fairways are etched into golden-colored desert grasses. Kierland Golf Club is a spacious 27 hole layout created by designer Scott Miller and features more than 300 bunkers. Kierland is managed by Troon Golf.

Golfers at Sunridge Canyon are drawn into the Sonoran Desert playing on lush fairways hidden between steep canyon walls. The front nine plays down into the canyon it is named for, while the back nine takes players on a roller-coaster ride back to the clubhouse. Designer Keith Foster is known for his playable golf courses and intricate bunker work. The signature hole is the par-5 16^th hole, which features a punch-bowl shaped green. At SunRidge Canyon, the views are awe-inspiring, the solitude profound and the thrill is unique to any other golf experience.

Wildfire combines the exciting challenge of an Arnold Palmer designed course with the breathtaking beauty of the Sonoran desertscape. The healing energy of Havasupai transforms. Begin beneath the relaxing warm Waterfalls on the Oasis level. Arizona Aloe Body Wrap:  For Sun Damaged & Dry Skin

Known for its gentle healing properties, aloe restores and hydrates sun-damaged and dry skin. This treatment is ideal after a hot day in the Arizona sun. Pure algae is blended with aloe Vera and essential oils to create a fast absorbing and soothing effect on the skin. The healing process begins as you are wrapped in sheets. During the wrap, your scalp, neck, hands and feet will be massaged to reach your very core. Once the wrap is removed, relaxation is complete as chamomile body lotion is applied.

Arizona Aloe Eucalyptus Scrub

Through exfoliation of surface skin cells, you not only nourish your body, you bring forth fresh skin that is able to absorb oxygen from the air. This invigorating exfoliation uses nourishing thermal mineral salts rich in minerals and trace elements infused with eucalyptus essential oil, followed by a loofah scrub and massage application with local botanical aloe lotion.

Royal Sonoran Body Polish

This is a gentler exfoliation featuring ingredients from the surrounding landscape. It includes a cream scrub with granulated pumice stone and chamomile, followed by a loofah scrub with chamomile shower/ bath gel and chamomile spray.

Using the restorative powers of Rose Hip Oil, naturally rich in vitamin C and other vital nutrients, this  experience will rejuvenate your spirit through exfoliation, massage and body wrap. The secret power of a Rose Hip Oil massage will loosen your muscles and release tension. Finally, your body is gently wrapped in an Infusion of Rose Hip.

This experience combines all the earth's elements in the form of medicinal moor mud wrap, healing waters bath, light massage and aromatherapy to detoxify, nourish and hydrate the body. 

East Meets West LaStone Therapy

Earth, air, fire and water unite to capture the original LaStone therapy, developed in Arizona, by combining the scents and oils of the eastern-based, holistic Ayurvedic treatment. Our massage therapists have personally harvested local basalt river stones (earth element) from the river (water element). The rocks are warmed (fire element) creating a deep heat massage to ease tension. The Ayurvedic oils, including a blend of cinnamon, sage, rosemary, basil and rose, are combined with the hot rocks to create a unique aroma (calming air element) to melt away stress.

Cancellation Policy:
If you must reschedule or cancel an á la carte appointment, please notify the Spa 4 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the service. Cancellation of a package requires 24-hour notice.

Gratuities:
For your convenience an 18% gratuity will be added to all á la carte services and spa packages.

Gift Certificates:
Give the gift of energy to someone special. The Willow Stream experience makes an ideal gift for any occasion.  Beautifully designed and presented, gift certificates are available for spa packages or predetermined denominations. Phone and mail orders are welcome. 

Babysitting
Babysitting service is available with a required four-hour minimum service. The price is $10.00/hour for one child. Each additional child is an extra $2.00/hour.

Bell Staff
Bellmen are located at the resort's main entry and in the Main Lobby. They are available to assist with porterage, luggage storage and on-site shuttle service.

Children's Activity Center
Kids Club is available for children from 6 to 12 years old.  It is available from June 7 to Sept 7, 2002 and on major holidays. Supervised full and half day programs include arts & crafts, computer games, outdoor activities, story time, swimming, movies and more.  The Kid's Clubhouse is also a great place for kids to meet new friends during their stay.

Concierge

The hotel has four elevators in the Main Building. The second floor of the Casitas and the Villas are accessible by stairs.

Express Check-Out
Guests can verify their account and check-out through their guest-room television. A receipt will be mailed out to the address provided by the guest at the time of reservation or check-in.
