The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is the ultimate desert oasis. Opened in December 1987 with 650 guest rooms, complete recreational facilities, 61,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and award-winning restaurants, The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess' commitment to service and luxurious surroundings has earned the resort its membership with The Leading Hotels of the World.
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess appropriately reflects the southwestern setting with Mexican colonial-style architecture and terracotta color. Set against the scenic backdrop of Arizona's McDowell Mountains, the hotel's idyllic southwest experience reflects the beauty of the landscape and creates an atmosphere of casual elegance. The buildings are positioned to capture the feeling of wide-open spaces, complete with cupolas. In southwestern tradition, cupolas served as a beacon to travelers, indicating shelter and safety and a gathering place for social activity, hospitality and culture.
The historians and architects who created The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess captured this special spirit. Guests from around the world come to experience the traditions, adventures, romance and spirit of the southwestern borderlands found at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.

DINING
Variety is the spice of life at The Fairmont
Scottsdale Princess. Each of the hotel's restaurants has a distinctive flavor in
both cuisine and decor.
Marquesa, the resort signature restaurant rated AAA 5 Diamond
and Mobil 4 Star, combines the seasonings and flavors of the Mediterranean
Riviera.
La Hacienda is North America's only AAA 4 Diamond and Mobil 4
Star Gourmet Mexican restaurant. The ambiance and decor at this turn of the
Century Mexico Ranch House is only surpassed by the culinary specialties from
Old Colonial Mexico.
The best Steak House in the region, The Grill, features the
area's only prime, dry-aged beef and a wide variety of fresh fish and shellfish
flown in daily.
The resort main dining room, Las Ventanas, with its
southwestern decor, expansive glass walls and tile floors, concludes the
culinary repertoire with traditional American comfort food, offering recipes
inspired from the entire USA.

Avid golfers will enjoy a PGA Tour Golf experience at The Tournament Players Club (TPC) of Scottsdale, Stadium Course. These courses are located adjacent to The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Designed by the team of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, each course has its own unique qualities and offers guests a choice of challenge. The Stadium Course is the home of the annual Professional Golf Association Tours Phoenix Open. The course boasts a 100,000 plus gallery, excellent for spectators who enjoy the excitement of The Open every January. Lush fairways surrounded by desert vegetation and breathtaking mountain views enhance the golf experience on this 18 hole, par 71 course. One of the most dramatic holes on the TPC Stadium Course is the 15th hole. It is a reachable par-5 with water surrounding an island green, with bunkers in the front of the green and a lake to the left it creates an interesting challenge for all. Beside the Stadium Course is the Desert Course offering a more lenient round of golf with larger greens and more level fairways. However, the course can be a challenge with prevailing winds and selectively placed bunkers and trees.

Eagle Mountain Golf Course
Eagle Mountain is a rambling track that is draped around the mountain of the same name. Even though Eagle Mountain has numerous blind shots, ubiquitous bunkering and greens that seem to wave at will; there is much to admire at this golf course. After working with Jack Nicklaus designing other courses, Scott Miller set off on his own creating some notable golf courses, one of which is Eagle Mountain. The wide variety of holes is remarkable, and the course builds to a crescendo with the 17th and 18th signature holes. On the 18th hole players tee off from high on a hill with Red Mountain forming and awesome backdrop

Kierland is managed by Troon Golf.

Golfers at Sunridge Canyon are drawn into the Sonoran Desert playing on lush fairways hidden between steep canyon walls. The front nine plays down into the canyon it is named for, while the back nine takes players on a roller-coaster ride back to the clubhouse. Designer Keith Foster is known for his playable golf courses and intricate bunker work. The signature hole is the par-5 16th hole, which features a punch-bowl shaped green. At SunRidge Canyon, the views are awe-inspiring, the solitude profound and the thrill is unique to any other golf experience.

Wildfire combines the exciting challenge of an Arnold Palmer designed course with the breathtaking beauty of the Sonoran desertscape. The course is a work of art that will satisfy the ability levels of all who enjoy the game. Wildfire ebbs and flows, in other words, hit it straight or suffer the consequences on the wild-flower laden links. After the 3rd hole there is no letup, with the 415-yard, par-4 15th hole being the signature offering. Guests will find everything here to put Wildfire on the 'must play' list, the challenge and rewarding is gratifying
