styles. Consider the casual, tropical setting of the Beach
Tower, or the contemporary, relaxed atmosphere of the Coral
Towers. The Royal
Towers, as featured in Atlantis advertising, are home to the most luxurious
and upscale accommodations, while Harborside
Resort at Atlantis features residential-style suites.
Room choices in each tower include spacious standard guest rooms and a
selection of luxurious suites. In addition, Harborside
Resort offers the spacious comfort and convenience of accommodations
that feature separate bedroom, living room and kitchen areas.

The Coral Towers are centrally located between the Beach Tower and the Royal
Towers. The Coral Lounge and Atrium Lobby feature inviting, over-stuffed
couches, tranquil fountains, skylights and marine-life sculptures. The
Coral Towers are only steps away from the Predator Lagoon, the Lagoon Pool and
the Casino. Also nearby are the Crystal Court Shops and dining options at
the Marina waterfront.

and decor are stunningly original, featuring unique murals, sculpture and
fountains. The most elegant accommodations at Atlantis, the Royal Towers

delectable desserts. From poolside casual to upscale elegant, Atlantis

Dinner reservations are suggested for most restaurants and are required for
some. Diners with flexible plans may want to consider making dinner
reservations for between 6pm and 7pm or after 9pm when seating tends to be more
readily available. Guest are encouraged to make dinner reservations for
their entire stay on the day of arrival.

ACTIVITIES
Atlantis offers experiences to suit all tastes and ages - from water sports
and swimming to luxurious pampering of a spa and world-class shopping.
Whether guests choose golf or tennis, once-in-a-lifetime swim with the dolphins
or a tour through Historic Nassau, they're never at a loss for excitement,
adventure and exploration.
- WATER SPORTS: No tip to paradise is
complete without time spent in the water. Atlantis offers a variety of
water activities, such as SCUBA diving, snorkeling and handling water crafts
that range from aqua bikes to glass-bottom boats. Please be advised
that the providers of motorized water sports and excursions are independent
contractors not affiliated with the resort. All risks incidental to
participation in these recreational activities are assumed by the guest.
- Snorkeling/SCUBA: Tropical fish and magnificent coral
await guests on a snorkeling or SCUBA adventure. Complimentary
SCUBA lessons are offered daily at the Lagoon Pool. The Liquid Adventure
Centers, located on each pool deck, offer snorkeling gear, SCUBA rentals
and registration for custom PADI SCUBA certification classes. The
seven-acre Paradise Lagoon provide snorkeling and features schools of
tropical fish.
- Water Toys: At the Liquid Adventure Centers, located on
each pool deck, guests can arrange a sail around the seven-acre Paradise
Lagoon. Atlantis offers crafts to suit every mood and skill level:
sunfishes, Hobie sailboats, paddle boats, aqua bikes, kayaks and even
glass-bottom boats. Younger guests can play with giant plastic
beach toys, animal shaped inflatable floats or boogie boards.

equipment - are also available
- EXCURSIONS: Atlantis offers excursions that range from tranquil to
thrilling. Among the possibilities, guests can swim with dolphins, ride a
carriage through Historic Nassau, soar above the island on a helicopter tour, or
relax on a catamaran snorkeling or sunset cruise. Please be advised that
the providers of excursions offered at Atlantis are independent contractors, not
affiliated with Atlantis Resort, Sun International, Sun International Bahamas
Limited, or any of their parents, affiliates or subsidiaries at every tier.

responsible for the acts, neglects or defaults of such independent
contractors. All risks incidental to participation in water sports
activities and other recreational facilities of the resorts are assumed by the
guest.
- Seahorse Sailing Adventure: A Seahorse Sailing Adventure shows guests
the beauty of the Bahamian waters as waves gently splash against the
catamaran. The state-of-the-art 54-foot and 63-foot catamarans accommodate
up to 60 to 100 passengers for snorkeling trips, sunset cruises, and
custom-catered charters. A spacious covered bar and lounge area are
perfect for cocktails, luncheons or dinner parties. Ideal for groups of
any size, from couples to large parties. Advance reservations are
recommended.
- Dolphin Encounters: After a leisurely 20-minute boat ride to beautiful
Blue Lagoon Island, guests are introduced to the dolphin's amazing world during
an informative talk. Then comes the unique Dolphin Encounters.
Programs include: Swim With The Dolphins, a thirty-minute swim where guests
interact with the dolphins; The Close Encounter, a thirty-minute program where
guests are waist-high in the water with the dolphins and can touch and interact
with them; and The Observer, where guests can observe either of the two previous
programs. Dolphin Encounters is a member of the Alliance of Marine Mammal
Parks and Aquariums, as well as the International Trainers Association - both of
which promote quality care and treatment of animals. Advance reservations
are strongly recommended.
- SPORTS CENTER: The Sports Center at
Atlantis features something for everyone in the family. Open seven
days a week from dawn to dusk, the cornerstone of the Sports Center is a
tennis complex with ten courts for year-round, all-weather play.
Swimmers who favor vigorous exercise over splashing and playing will enjoy
the four-lane lap pool. Other facilities include a full-sized
basketball court, a beach volleyball court and an 18-hole putting course
- Fitness Facility: The wide variety of equipment at the
fitness facility at the Sports enter, provides guests with a satisfying
workout. Personal training sessions and invigorating workout
classes with certified health-and-fitness professionals are also

- Tennis: Six deco-turf and four hydro-clay courts,
including a championship court with stadium seating, are all lit at

- 18 Hole Putting Course: The 18-hole, J. Fazio-designed
putting course features richly landscaped bunkers, rolling hills and the
unparalleled beauty of Paradise Island. The course offers hours of
recreation, relaxation and fun for golfers of all skill levels.
- Other Sports: Guests can enjoy a spirited game of
volleyball on a beach court, a round of hoops on a full basketball court
or invigorating laps in the 25-meter four-lane lap pool.
- Pro Shop: A full line of Atlantis sports apparel can be
purchased in the Pro Shop. Rental tennis racquets and lessons with
the pro are also available.
- OCEAN CLUB GOLF COURSE: Guests of
Atlantis can enjoy invigorating play and spectacular ocean views at the new
Ocean Club Golf Course. The 18-hole, par 72 championship course is
designed by Tom Weiskopf and operated by Troon Golf. Weiskopf's PGA
course features meticulous seaside green and tee settings, alternating
fairways and breathtaking signature holes stretched over 7,100 yards.
Men's tees are located at 6,500 yards, resort tees are at 6,000 yards and
women's tees at 5,300 yards. An on-site pro and new Clubhouse
compliment this remarkable golfing experience.
- THE SPA AT ATLANTIS: The Mandara Spa at
Atlantis offers a full menu of massages, facials, body treatments, aromatherapy
treatments and salon services, all drawing on Mandara's success in blending
the unique qualities of Asian service and exotic spa treatments with respect
for natural beauty and a serene ambiance. Included in the facilities
are 24 treatment rooms (seven specially designed for facial treatments); two

- Salon: The full-service salon offers an array of services
for women and men, including coloring, permanent-wave treatments,

- Water Therapy: A soothing steam bath, sauna or tropical
rain shower in the Utopia Room gently eases away all tension. Also
available: immersion in fresh seawater in the open-air Thalassotherapy

high-powered water jets to melt stress.
- DISCOVERY CHANNEL CAMP: Kids from 4 to
12 can become explorers for a day, find buried treasure, look at the stars
through a high-powered telescope and get up close to a shark (without
getting wet). Or they can inspect the tiniest living creatures through
a microscope, sculpt an imitation bone fossil and learn about sea animals on
a really cool computer. It's all at the Discovery Channel Camp at
Atlantis and it's for kids only! Programs range from a one-hour

- Exploration & History: Base Camp, both a play and
orientation area, is the center of operations. Featuring a replica
of the Atocha, a Spanish galleon that sank off the Bahamian coast in
1662, Base Camp is where campers learn history through interactive
story-telling. The sails of the Atocha also serve a a giant movie
screen for viewing Discovery Channel expedition films.
- Technology Lab: Campers can learn interesting facts about
Atlantis' sea animals using state-of-the-art computers with internet

- Arts & Crafts: Nature Crafts is where campers explore
their own creativity in a hands-on fashion. Projects include

animals and plants. Using high-powered microscopes, campers can

WATER ATTRACTIONS
Atlantis offers endless water fun options for guests of all ages. Eleven
pool areas and miles of white sand beach provide both adventure and
relaxation. For those seeking excitement, seven different water slides and
rides are guaranteed to let guests experience the thrill of a lifetime.
Please be aware that all risks incidental to participation in water sports
activities and other recreational facilities of the resort are assumed by the
guest.
Pools: No island is complete without an
afternoon spent relaxing in the warm tropical sun, and then plunging into the
refreshing waters of a crystal clear swimming pool. At Atlantis, there are
pools that satisfy every taste, from the formal splendor of the Royal Baths Pool
to the relaxed atmosphere and fun of the River Pool. Each pool deck offers
lounge chairs for sunbathing and complimentary beach towels for guests of the
resort. Guests must be 48 inches tall to ride the water slides. The
pools are open and lifeguards are on duty from 7:30am to 6:00pm. Children
ages 16 and under that are within the pool and beach areas must be accompanied
by an adult at all times. Swimming in the Lagoon or ocean beyond the buoys
and designated marked areas is not allowed.
- Royal Baths Pool: Guests looking for
traditional sun bathing may relax at the formal Royal Baths. Palm
trees fringe the area to provide shade throughout the day. Located at

- Mayan Temple Pool: At the foot of
the impressive Mayan Temple, this zero-entry pool is an active spot for

through exotic jungles and caves built into the heart of the Temple.

- Serpent Slide: On the five-story corkscrew Serpent Slide,
guest travel on a tube at high speeds through the darkness of the Temple's
core. The twisting and turning ride culminates with a leisurely pass

MARINE HABITATS: The
waterscape surrounding Atlantis comprises 11 million gallons of water and more
that 50,000 sea animals, representing of 200 species. They live in 11
exhibit lagoons - the largest marine habitat in the world, second only to Mother
Nature.
Most of these marine animals at Atlantis are indigenous to Bahamian waters
and live in a sophisticated ecosystem. Their well-being is diligently
monitored by state-of-the-art aquarium technology. These water-dwelling
guests range from sharks and barracudas in the Predator Lagoon, to the lionfish
and jewelfish in The Dig, to the spotted eagle and stingrays in the Water's Edge
Lagoon. There's even a tank of seemingly phosphorescent jellyfish.
- Ruins Lagoon: The Ruins Lagoon, filled with ancient Atlantis
artifacts, is home to over 20,000 deep reef and pelagic fish. These
open-water fish include a variety of tuna, jacks, snappers and spiny
lobster. The 2.7 million-gallon exhibit allows for the magnificent
display of certain species of fish that are normally impossible or very
difficult to view without getting wet. located in the Royal
Towers. Can be viewed from within The Dig or the lower level of the
Great Hall of Waters.
- Predator Lagoon: The Predator Lagoon is a fascinating
wildlife habitat under the sea, featuring predominately deeper reef
fish. Sharks, barracudas, rays, sawfish and giant grouper live among
vibrant schools of fish in a natural environment, complete with beautiful
coral in every color imaginable. Guests can come face to face with the
awesome predators as the walk through the 100-foot clear underwater tunnel
submerged in the lagoon. Located below the Lagoon Bar & Grill,
outside the Coral Towers.
- Seagrapes Lagoon: Colorful reef fish and gentle rays create a
kaleidoscope inside a Bahamian cave. Peering through giant viewing
windows into the 500,000-gallon lagoon, guests can see French angelfish,
parrotfish, butterfly fish, squirrelfish and live soft corals. During
feedings, you will see the rays being fed by hand. Located outside the
Beach Tower.
- Other Marine Exhibits
- Exotic Exhibits in The Dig: In The Dig, you will discover
a stunning collection a sea creatures who protect Atlantis' secrets and
treasures, including piranha, jellyfish, green eels and lionfish.
- Mayan Temple Lagoon: Caribbean reef sharks, silly sharks
and nurse sharks can be seen from extraordinary vantage points: from an
exhilarating ride on a water slide through the middle of the lagoon in a
clear tunnel - or from the surrounding deck and panoramic windows, which
offer a more leisurely look. Located outside the Royal Towers.
- Water's Edge Lagoon: Animals such as bone fish,
bonnethead sharks and cownose rays inhabit this shallow and tranquil
lagoon. Located outside the Coral Towers.
- Royal Stingray Lagoons: These lagoons are home to two
local species of stingrays: black and white spotted rays and southern
stingrays. Located out the Royal Towers, along either side of the
Royal Walk.
- Stingray Lagoon: The sandy, shallow lagoon affords guests
an up-close look at southern stingrays. During feeding times,
guests have the opportunity to touch and feed the rays. Located
outside the Beach Tower.
- Estuary Lagoon: Baby sea animals bon at Atlantis,
including sharks and rays, live here until they are big enough to move
into the other lagoons. Located outside the Reef Wing of the Coral
Towers.
- Hibiscus Lagoon: A meandering lagoon that is home to green and
hawksbill turtles. Located outside the Beach Tower.
- Reef Lagoon: During the daytime, nurse sharks sleep
peacefully on the bottom of the lagoon. At night, they can be seen
foraging for food. Located outside the Reef Wing of the Coral
Towers.
- Fish Feeding: All of the animals at Atlantis, from piranha to
giant groupers, tune to jellyfish, rays to sea turtles, are closely
monitored and cared for by a staff of 61 marine technicians - the 'Seakeepers'.
The Seakeepers feed the animals restaurant quality seafood including shrimp,
squid, smelt and a variety of fish: approximately 600 pounds of food is
prepared daily. The larger animals are given multivitamins every day,
and romaine lettuce is served to the herbivorous animals such as turtles and
angelfish. Guests can join the Seakeepers for feedings that take place
daily throughout the resort, and participate in informative talks about the
various interesting habits - mating, eating and more - of the underwater
animals.

MARINA
Directions: GPS: N25-05.34
W77-21.27 This waypoint places you right off the Western entrance
to Nassau Harbor within site of the first entry buoys. It is the starts of
the standard Western approach into Nassau Harbor, between the west tip of
Paradise Island (white lighthouse) on your port side, and the line of Long Cay,
Silver Cay and the Silver Cay breakwater, on your starboard side.
Prior to entering the breakwater, you should call Nassau Harbor Control on VHF
channel 16 and request permission to enter the harbor area. (Note: All
vessels, including pleasure craft, are required to clear with Nassau Harbor
Control when entering, departing, or changing positions within the confines of
Nassau Harbor. Nassau Harbor Control is operative 24 hours daily.)
As you proceed East through Nassau Harbor, the 24-story, Royal Towers at
Atlantis are clearly visible to the North (bow to port side). Just prior
to Potters Cay and the two, side-by-side, arched Paradise Island bridges, is the
clearly marked entrance to The Marina at Atlantis on the port side. Please
contact the Dock master's office on VHF channel 10 for permission to enter the
Marina. Further instructions (slip assignment, etc.) will come at that
time.
Marina Specifications: With direct access from Nassau Harbor,
The Marina at Atlantis features 63 mega-yacht slips. a 100-foot wide
channel, located to the west of the north-bound Nassau/Paradise Island bridge,
allows unrestricted mast hieght on sailboats and easy access for
powerboats. Both the channel and The Marina feature a minimum water depth
of 12 feet at low tide. Within a protected harbor, the largest of the 63
slips are 160 foot finger piers with a 35 foot beam, plus several lay-along-side
berths with no beam restrictions.
